Jack Willis needs the RFU to alter its coverage on not choosing foreign-based gamers
England and Toulouse flanker Jack Willis needs the Rugby Football Union to rethink its coverage which prevents the collection of foreign-based gamers.
Willis was given particular dispensation to play for England this season having signed a short-term deal at Toulouse after former membership Wasps entered administration.
The 26-year-old has since signed a three-year deal on the French membership, putting his England future unsure.
Willis stated of the coverage: “It’s one thing that I believe must be mentioned. It needs to be mentioned actually. It’s less than me how these selections go. If it was, I believe I do know which method I’d be heading for.

“Hopefully they assume it by and hopefully issues can change to a level and open up somewhat bit extra on the leniency.
Willis hopes ‘issues align barely higher’
“To play for England, you have to play your finest rugby and I felt like [Toulouse] was the precise place for me to develop as a rugby participant and be the perfect participant I may be.

Willis established himself as England’s first-choice openside through the Six Nations and hopes he can stay a key participant beneath head coach Steve Borthwick.

“It’s one thing that I actually hope I can proceed as effectively as a result of he is an important coach and he actually supported me.”
Willis ‘blown away’ by Toulouse help

On Toulouse, Willis added: “They need their gamers taking part in worldwide rugby, whether or not that is for France, for Italy, Argentina, Australia, England. They know the way formidable we’re as gamers and so they wish to assist us fulfil that dream.
